    Our one-day first aid course is designed to train the mariner to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care for life threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in adults.

    This course will provide the mariner with the knowledge and skills necessary in an emergency to help sustain life and to minimize pain and the consequences of injury or sudden illness until professional medical help arrives.

    This course has been modified to include additional instruction and practice opportunities of emergency carries as required by the USCG for STCW credit for licensed mariners.
